Fact-Check Methodology

This document explains the standards, verification protocols, and rating criteria applied by the Clarity Times newsroom when evaluating public claims, corporate announcements, and political statements.

Effective Date: October 2026 • Entity: Beeps Venture Technologies LLP

Selection Criteria for Claims

We select claims that meet three core benchmarks: they must contain verifiable factual assertions (rather than pure opinion or rhetoric); they must be in wide public circulation or asserted by individuals holding constitutional, regulatory, or corporate authority; and they must have a measurable bearing on public policy or civic understanding. We evaluate claims across the political spectrum with strict institutional neutrality. Readers can submit claims for verification by emailing mail@claritytimes.org.

Verification Protocol

  1. Claim Isolation: We identify the exact claim, the speaker, the context, the medium of delivery, and provide links or archived records of the original statement.
  2. Primary Evidence Retrieval: We pull certified government gazettes, court orders, statutory audit filings, parliamentary answers, RTI responses, and peer-reviewed scientific studies.
  3. Right of Reply: Before reaching a verdict, we contact the individual or organization that made the assertion, providing a reasonable window to furnish their documentation or substantiating data.
  4. Independent Expert Consultation: Where specialized technical, financial, or constitutional questions arise, we consult non-partisan subject matter experts, disclosing their institutional affiliations.
  5. Multi-Tier Editorial Review: Every fact-check is scrutinized by the Managing Editor. If the Managing Editor drafted the analysis, it is independently audited by the Editor-in-Chief.
  6. Complete Transparency: We provide hyperlinks and citations to every primary document cited, allowing readers to trace and verify every evidentiary step independently.

Rating Standards

  • True: The statement is factually accurate in its entirety, with no material omissions or misleading context.
  • Mostly True: The core assertion is accurate, but minor technical nuance, qualification, or context is required.
  • Misleading: The statement combines accurate facts with selective omissions or framing to create an inaccurate impression.
  • False: The statement is contradicted by primary documentary evidence and verified official records.
  • Unverified: Public records and empirical data are presently insufficient to corroborate or refute the claim definitively.

Corrections and Rating Revisions

If fresh documentary evidence emerges that alters our factual evaluation, we update the analysis immediately, state the revised rating, and log the change on our Corrections Log.

Ownership and Financial Independence
