1. Mission of Multi-Perspective Clarity
The core founding mandate of Clarity Times is to provide clarity on complex societal, economic, and political occurrences by presenting all critical viewpoints that mainstream coverage ignores or truncates. We believe that presenting one-sided narratives weakens democratic understanding. Our duty is not to advocate for any party, company, or dogma, but to untangle structural dynamics and empower readers to reach informed conclusions.
2. Independence & Corporate Governance
Clarity Times operates as an independent media entity under Beeps Venture Technologies LLP (Registered Address: CSEZ PO, Kakkanad, Ernakulam, Kerala, 682037).
Our newsroom operates behind a strict firewall between editorial decision-making and business management. Commercial partners, advertisers, investors, and corporate leadership hold zero authority over story assignment, investigative scope, editorial headlines, or analytical findings.
3. Sourcing and Verification Standards
Every investigative report and news dispatch must meet unambiguous verification bars:
- Primary Documentation: We prioritize certified regulatory filings, court documents, gazette notifications, audits, and scientific peer-reviewed literature above secondary interpretations.
- Multiple Independent Sources: Unnamed or anonymous sources are used only when the information is of critical public importance and when the source faces credible professional or personal retaliation. In all cases, anonymous assertions must be corroborated by documentary proof or a second independent source.
- Attribution: We explicitly attribute all claims, studies, quotes, and third-party research to their original creators with clear context.
4. Right of Reply & Fair Comment
When reporting investigative findings that reflect critically upon an individual, public agency, or corporation, our journalists are mandated to reach out for a right of reply before publication. A reasonable window is provided for response, and any substantive reply is integrated into the article.
5. Correction & Clarification Protocol
Clarity Times is committed to transparent accountability. When a material factual error occurs:
- We correct the error promptly in the text of the article.
- We append a prominent Correction Note at the bottom of the article specifying what was inaccurate, what was corrected, and the timestamp of the modification.
- Articles are never quietly altered or deleted without an editorial notice.
To submit a factual challenge, email mail@claritytimes.org with the article URL, disputed passage, and supporting evidence.
6. Conflict of Interest Disclosures
Our journalists and editorial contributors are prohibited from holding active financial stakes in entities they cover directly or accepting gifts, accommodations, or payments from subjects of their investigations. Where an unavoidable institutional intersection exists, it is transparently disclosed at the beginning of the article.
